GreenTex recently completed this exterior remodel including new windows and siding in Spicewood, Texas outside of Austin. The windows were original to this 40 year old home, and the outdated siding was hurting the curb appeal, efficiency, and fire safety of the home. GreenTex came out promptly to provide a full inspection, and found that the original windows provided very little insulation from the outside elements, resulting in an uncomfortable home and high energy bills. The outdated siding on the home’s exterior was unattractive, and more importantly, posed a significant risk to the home in the event of a fire.
Due to the rural location of the home, the Gallos were already concerned with their home’s fire protection due to the limited fire services in the area. GreenTex was able to offer all new, energy efficient vinyl replacement windows and the latest James HardieTM replacement siding at a very affordable cost. After accepting our proposal, GreenTex quickly got to work, and installed the replacement windows and replacement siding on the home. The family is absolutely thrilled with their new windows and siding, from the beautiful new curb appeal to the efficiency of their home. The home now has added fire protection with the addition of fiber cement siding, a drastic increase in efficiency with the added insulation, and a beautiful makeover on the outside!
