GreenTex Home Improvement – Window Upgrade in Austin, TX (Travis Country West Subdivision)

Location: Austin, TX 78735 – Travis Country West Subdivision

The Issue: Aging Windows and Rising Temperatures

It’s a story that many homeowners can relate to—your beloved house reaches a certain age, and suddenly it’s like the windows have called it quits. For one couple in Austin’s Travis Country West subdivision, their house was celebrating its 20th anniversary with windows that had clearly seen better days. Not only were the windows fogging up like someone was hosting a steamy sauna session between the panes, but their spacious living room, adorned with five large windows, was also turning into a hotbox during those famously unforgiving Texas summers.

Cooling down the room had become a Herculean task, and cranking up the air conditioning felt more like burning money than providing relief. The couple knew they needed a change—so they called in the experts: GreenTex Home Improvement. Spoiler alert: it was the best call they could’ve made.

The Solution: Windows Worth Falling In Love With

Enter GreenTex Home Improvement , the Austin-based heroes of home energy efficiency. After hearing about the couple’s woes, the team swooped in to offer a variety of window options designed not only to improve comfort but to drastically reduce energy consumption. The couple was presented with different styles, materials, and efficiency ratings to suit their needs.

It didn’t take long for the homeowners to spot “the one.” There was a particular style of energy-efficient window that they fell head-over-heels for. It was like a meet-cute in a romantic movie, except the heart-throb was a window that would bring some much-needed coolness to their lives—literally. These windows weren’t just designed to keep the room cool, but they were also aesthetically pleasing, blending seamlessly with the architectural charm of their 20-year-old home.

Thus, Phase 1 of the project began.

The Outcome: Cooler Summers, Cozier Winters – and a Happier Home

Once the first round of new windows was installed, it was as if the couple had been living in a different house all along. The fogged-up glass was replaced with clear, high-performance windows that not only cut down on the need for air conditioning but also added a fresh, modern touch to their home’s exterior. The oppressive heat that had once haunted their living room was now a distant memory.

Phase 1 was such a success that the couple didn’t wait long to set their sights on Phase 2. Two years after their initial upgrade, GreenTex is back on-site, working on the next phase of the window transformation, and the homeowners couldn’t be more excited. With Phase 2 underway, their home is well on its way to being fully outfitted with top-notch windows that offer more than just good looks—they promise energy savings for years to come.

The couple’s review? A resounding success. They couldn’t be happier with their purchase and are looking forward to a more comfortable, energy-efficient home where they can finally enjoy their living room—without sweating through those Austin summers. Plus, with a trusted team like GreenTex, they know the next phase will be just as seamless as the first.
