A Window Transformation Story in Travis County, TX

Nestled in the scenic hills of Travis County, the Lake Pointe Community Center’s clubhouse has long been a gathering spot for residents to host events, relax by the water, or enjoy Texas sunsets. But over the years, its once-inviting charm had begun to fade—thanks in part to outdated windows and doors that dulled the stunning views outside and left the interiors looking tired and dim. That’s where GreenTex Home Improvement came in.

The Problem: A Beautiful View Blocked by a Not-So-Beautiful Frame

The original windows and doors of the HOA Club House had certainly served their time. But style and efficiency evolve, and the old designs—complete with grid overlays and generic white frames—weren’t doing the space any favors. Not only did they limit natural light and obscure the breathtaking lakeside view, but they also didn’t blend well with the modern upgrades the community had been making across the neighborhood.

Clubhouse staff and HOA members knew it was time for a change—but not just any change. They wanted a look that would elevate the aesthetics, embrace the natural beauty of Travis County, and reduce maintenance headaches along the way.

The Solution: A Clear View, A Fresh Look

GreenTex Home Improvement collaborated closely with the Lake Pointe team to find the right balance between function and form. The final decision? Picture windows without grids, framed in natural-toned finishes that complemented both the indoor and outdoor elements of the clubhouse.

These sleek, expansive windows now offer an unobstructed view of Lake Pointe’s tranquil surroundings—giving residents and guests a front-row seat to the beauty of the Hill Country. From early-morning yoga sessions to sunset socials, the clubhouse has become brighter, more inviting, and undeniably modern.

And it wasn’t just about aesthetics—these new windows also improved energy efficiency, meaning lower cooling costs during those long Texas summers (and let’s be honest, they can start in March and end sometime around Thanksgiving).

To complete the transformation, modern doors were installed to match the window framing—seamlessly tying together the entire exterior upgrade while enhancing security and functionality.

The Result: From Dated to Dazzling

Today, the Lake Pointe Community Center is looking better than ever—and feeling cooler, too. Residents have commented on how the interior now feels more spacious, how the colors of the outdoors now “paint the walls,” and how the space finally feels like it’s keeping up with the vibrance of the Lake Pointe neighborhood.

More than just a renovation, this project has given the community a refreshed space to connect, celebrate, and unwind in a setting that mirrors the beauty of Travis County itself.
